Venexus unveiled: ChainOn has developed and will manage for the next 3 years the first digital platform for ESG partnerships in the Veneto Region
Venexus – The Veneto that embodies Veneto (venexus.regione.veneto.it) is the Digital Platform designed and developed by ChainOn based on its technology for the Veneto Region, with the aim of fostering the creation of projects for the common good across the territory. The infrastructure, which implements Regional Law no. 10/2024, was presented by Alberto Stefani, President of the Veneto Region, on March 13, 2026, at the opening of the press conference marking the first hundred days of his administration.
The announcement of Venexus marks the beginning of the operational phase of the journey that started in 2025, when ChainOn was awarded the European tender launched by the Veneto Region. ChainOn has not limited itself to developing the technological architecture: it will also play a central role by handling the launch and operational management of the Platform over the next three years.
An important milestone also in ChainOn’s strategy, as highlighted by CEO Giovanni Palazzi:
“With the contract with the Veneto Region, ChainOn makes a quantum leap not only technologically but, above all, socially. Our Platform becomes a strategic tool for the public sector as well, expanding our business model and becoming a concrete driver of collaboration between public and private sectors. This opportunity allows us to leverage our know-how to help Italy tackle the challenges of development and shared value, demonstrating how innovation can generate real impact on communication, sustainability, and Made in Italy through efficiency and tangible benefits for all stakeholders.”
The infrastructure: operation and technological innovations
Venexus connects promoters of projects for the common good (Region, Municipalities, and Provinces, also in collaboration with the third sector) with Benefit Corporations and ESG Companies to implement concrete initiatives of public utility in the fields of social impact, environment, sports, and culture. Among the platform’s main innovations is the use of blockchain technology, employed to ensure transparency, traceability, and immutability of processes—elements that have always been central to ChainOn’s technological offering.
The Platform digitizes the entire lifecycle of a partnership through the following phases:
onboarding via SPID or CIE and registration in the regional registers of Benefit Corporations, ESG Companies, and Projects for the Common Good;
one-page project site: promoters describe their initiatives on a dedicated one-page site, specifying objectives and engagement methods;
matching: the Platform facilitates the meeting between companies’ needs and available projects, enabling direct contact;
letter of intent on blockchain: after negotiation and upon reaching a preliminary agreement, the parties sign a letter of intent automatically generated and notarized on the Veneto Region’s blockchain, ensuring maximum transparency and full legal certainty.
The Platform measures the impact of each project, generating a report that can be used by funding companies in their Benefit Corporation Impact Reports and ESG Sustainability Reports.
A model replicable beyond sports
The full implementation of Venexus strengthens ChainOn’s role as a benchmark in the innovation and digitalization of sponsorship and partnership processes.
With Venexus, ChainOn establishes itself as a leading operator for organizations aiming to integrate quality, sustainability, efficiency, and measurability into a single modern and transparent system.
The launch of Venexus represents an important milestone in ChainOn’s growth path, as CEO Palazzi emphasized:
“We have demonstrated our ability to build complex digital infrastructures for the public sector with the same solidity and reliability already recognized by the private market. This positions us confidently toward a capital increase that is generating strong and qualified interest from international investors who want to become shareholders and take part in the company’s growth in global markets. This is not something we take for granted: it confirms that ChainOn has built something scalable, defensible, and capable of generating long-term value.”
