ChainOn and Virtus Segafredo Bologna together again: partnership renewal for 2024/25
Virtus Segafredo Bologna and ChainOn, the digital sponsorship marketplace, have renewed their partnership for the 2024/25 season with the possibility of further extending the partnership in subsequent years. The agreement, which continues a contract started in 2022, allows foreasy, fast, secure and customerservice-assisted online purchasing of “Vu Nere” sponsorships on www.chainon.it/virtus.
The goal of the partnership is to continue the involvement, as sponsors, of micro and small businesses and freelancers: these are more than 4 million businesses in Italy (equal to 99 percent of businesses) and, in Emilia Romagna, about 400,000 businesses (95 percent of the total), which will have the opportunity to obtain important returns thanks to top professional sports and the link with a club that has a fan base:
- growing and high-spending: Virtus fans have grown 81% in the last 5 years to over a million. The Virtus people are also distinguished by a high socio-economic profile and a strong presence of entrepreneurs and freelancers;
- with great attention to sponsors: 81% have a favorable attitude toward sponsorships and 65% favor Club-related brands in their purchases;
- nationally widespread: although with solid roots in Emilia Romagna, where 31% of its following is located, Virtus boasts 69% of the fan base in other Italian regions, a record in Italian basketball.
