StageUp Srl and Ipsos Italia, two companies closely linked to ChainOn, have disclosed the data relating to the following of fans of the teams that will play the next Serie A, which kicks off on Saturday 19 August.

The complete results can be downloaded in the press release shared at the bottom of this text: there are 24.5 million fans of Serie A teams, a stable figure compared to last season, with an adjustment of 0.33%, after the decrease of over 2 percentage points in the midst of the pandemic, between 2020 and 2021. Juventus remains the most followed team (7,897,000 fans), followed by Inter and Milan (respectively 4,017,500 units and 3,943,000 fans) and by Napoli, winner of “Scudetto” (3,010,000 supporters and a growth of 14.2% compared to last year).

Giovanni Palazzi, ChainOn CEO, underlines a particularly significant topic: “The fans know who the sponsors of the teams participating in the Serie A championship are: the analyzes carried out show that the supporters have twice as much knowledge of the sponsoring brands as a municipality interested in the world of soccer”.
